Corinthians pocket million-dollar windfall with perfect Libertadores start | OneFootball

Corinthians beat Peñarol 2-0 at Neo Química Arena on Thursday, making it three wins from three in Group E of the Copa Libertadores.

According to Meu Timao, Conmebol pays 340,000 dollars per group-stage win, so the perfect first half has already brought in 1.02 million dollars, about R$ 5.1 million.

The run began with a 2-0 victory at Platense in Argentina, Kayke and Yuri Alberto scoring at Estadio Ciudad de Vicente López.
