Corinthians have posted an anti-racism message on social media ahead of their Copa Libertadores meeting with Rosario Central at Neo Química Arena, advising supporters how to report abuse. According to Meu Timao, the club said there is no place for discriminatory behaviour in football.

The post featured goalkeeper Hugo Souza, who suffered racist abuse in the first leg against the Argentine side. It included step-by-step guidance for filing complaints.

The move follows recent incidents linked to Corinthians, with the club urging fans not to stay silent and to use official channels to report prejudice.

During the first match, officials activated the protocol for racism cases and the circumstances were left under review by the competent authorities. Ángel Di María urged supporters to stop the abuse, and the stadium public address system issued anti-racism warnings.

After the game, Corinthians released a note condemning the incident and called on Conmebol to investigate. Later, videos circulated showing fans making monkey gestures towards the Corinthians support.

Rosario Central issued an official statement the next day, asking Conmebol to request from the referee irrefutable proof of the insults reported unilaterally by the player, without accepting the allegation.

The sides meet in the second leg of the round of 16 at 21:30. Corinthians must win to reach the next phase, another draw would take it to penalties, while an away victory would send Rosario Central through.
