Corinthians ready to face Ceará in Brasileirão, Hugo Souza out

Corinthians has completed its preparation for the match this Sunday (9), at Neo Química Arena, against Ceará for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship. The training took place, as usual, on the morning of this Saturday (8), at CT Joaquim Grava. The Alvinegro is seeking its 12th victory in the tournament, to reach 45 points in the standings – thus eliminating the chances of relegation in the tournament.

The activities began in the briefing room, where the coaching staff showed videos to the players about the opponent of the round. Following this, the squad did physical activation in the gym and proceeded to warm-up. Finally, coach Dorival Júnior led a tactical confrontation training, concluding with tactical activities and set-piece training.

It's worth noting that Timão will go into the match without Charles, Martínez, and Carrillo, who are suspended, as well as Hugo Souza, who did not recover in time from a muscle injury in his left thigh. Since the game against Grêmio last Sunday (2), he has been undergoing treatment with the medical and physical team to try to return to the field, but with the persistence of the pain, the technical staff decided not to include him.
