Corinthians have rejected an offer from Argentinos Juniors for right-back Pedro Milans. The bid proposed a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the deal.
According to Globo.com, the proposal included a 1.1 million dollar fee, around R$ 5.6 million at current rates. Corinthians deemed the amount low and are prioritising permanent sales to bolster finances in this transfer window.
Milans, 24, has made only eight appearances in 2026 and has struggled to establish himself.
He joined at the start of the season after his Peñarol contract expired, and is tied to Corinthians until 31 December 2029.
Last year he played 42 matches for Peñarol and has represented Uruguay at youth level.
It is the second approach turned down by Corinthians this window. Forward Gui Negão received a loan offer from Las Palmas of Spain, but talks did not progress.
