Corinthians have rejected a loan offer from French side Le Mans for 19-year-old forward Gui Negão, the third European approach of this window.
TMC reports that Le Mans proposed a loan running until 31 May 2027 for 200,000 euros (about R$ 1.2 million), split into 100,000 euros (R$ 590,000) up front and a further 100,000 euros if the team stayed in Ligue 1.
The package included a 6.2 million euro (R$ 36.6 million) purchase option, which would have become an obligation if Gui Negão started 60% of matches this season. Le Mans would also pay his wages in full during the loan.
Promoted to the senior squad in 2025, Gui Negão has had limited minutes this year. Under coach Fernando Diniz he has featured in four matches, starting once, and has scored one goal in 2026.
Earlier in the window, Corinthians rejected a US$ 250,000 (R$ 1.3 million) loan bid from Erzurumspor of Türkiye, which included a US$ 5 million (R$ 25.5 million) option to buy. Las Palmas of Spain made two attempts, proposing a loan with no fee and an 8 million euro (R$ 47.3 million) option.
