Corinthians have reappeared on the federal Active Debt list, three months after a tax settlement with the PGFN was approved covering R$ 679 million in social security and FGTS liabilities up to 2025. According to Meu Timao, three new FGTS entries were added last Thursday totalling R$ 40,025,788.84.
The 2026 entries are FGSP202601598 for R$ 38,532,159.34, FGSP202601600 for R$ 1,302,133.42 and FGSP202601599 for R$ 191,496.08.
The settlement, signed late in 2025 and formalised two months later with the first instalment, already covered previous FGTS debts from 2014, 2024 and 2025, totalling R$ 15,776,789.27 to be paid in 60 instalments.
Under the agreement, any new debts must be regularised within 90 days with the PGFN and the federal tax authority, otherwise the deal can be rescinded. That gives Corinthians until 12 August to reach terms and remove the new entries.
If rescinded, the club would lose a 46.6% discount, lifting the total from R$ 679 million to about R$ 1.2 billion, be barred from new transactions for two years, and could see guarantees enforced against Parque São Jorge under four property records, numbers 24.168, 24.207, 162.200 and 241.016. The club acknowledged the debt and said a new payment agreement was already planned.
