Corinthians return to training after 1-1 draw and begin preparations for Athletico-PR | OneFootball

Corinthians returned to CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Monday after the 1-1 draw at Bahia in Salvador in the 20th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. According to Meu Timao, attention has now turned to Athletico-PR.

Players who featured for more than 45 minutes stayed indoors for recovery work. The rest completed a gym activation, then moved to the pitch for warm-ups and an opposed session.

To complement the session, head coach Fernando Diniz involved several Under-20 players, a routine step in the days after matches.

Forward Vitinho did not take part. He sustained a left knee meniscus injury in training on Friday and, after tests, will undergo surgery on Wednesday.

Training continues on Tuesday morning at the club’s base and is set to conclude on Wednesday. The Athletico-PR match is scheduled for Thursday, 30, at 19:30 at Neo Química Arena, in the 21st round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
