Corinthians reveal line-up to face Flamengo in the Brasileirão

On the evening of this Sunday, the 28th, Corinthians takes the field with a new uniform and aims to improve their position in the Brasileirão standings. The match against Flamengo takes place at the Neo Química Arena, starting at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), with Dorival Júnior fielding the following team for the match:

Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, João Pedro, Gustavo Henrique, and Matheus Bidu; Raniele, José Martínez, Maycon, and Breno Bidon; Gui Negão and Yuri Alberto. Expected to be a starter, André Ramalho became a miss due to a strain in the right hamstring.

The Corinthians bench includes Felipe Longo, Félix Torres, Romero, Cacá, Fabrizio Angileri, Vitinho, Kayke, Ryan, Talles Magno, Hugo, André, and Dieguinho. Besides Ramalho, Timão also has the absences of André Carrilo (ligament injury in the left ankle), Charles (treatment for pain in the right knee), Memphis Depay (edema in the right hamstring), and Rodrigo Garro (muscle injury in the right calf).

Corinthians also needs to start winning Brasileirão matches at home again. The last victory was on May 18, with a 1-0 win against Santos, in the ninth round of the national competition. Since then, there have been four draws and two losses in national tournament matches in Itaquera.

The next match is on Wednesday, October 1, at 7:30 PM (Brasília time), against Internacional, for the 25th round of the Brazilian Championship.
