The club ended talks to sign forward Renê from Portuguesa, declining to pay R$ 4.5 million for the 22-year-old. He was later announced by Vitória.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled against Corinthians in a case concerning debts owed to Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine.

The issue relates to the loan of midfielder Maycon, with the club required to pay about R$ 7.2 million.
