Corinthians run tactical session at CT before day off in international break | OneFootball

Corinthians completed a fourth straight training session on Monday morning at CT Joaquim Grava, continuing preparations for the season run-in during the international break.

According to Meu Timao, the day started with gym work, then on the pitch the squad warmed up with possession drills before small-sided exercises. Head coach Fernando Diniz later focused on attacking movements, building out under pressure and defensive reorganisation.

Four players remain away on international duty. Goalkeeper Hugo Souza, right-back Matheuzinho and midfielder Breno Bidon are with Brazil, while midfielder André Carrillo is in camp with Peru.

Corinthians are looking to pull away from the drop zone in the Brasileirão. They sit 14th on 32 points, three ahead of Grêmio, who occupy the first relegation place.

The squad have Tuesday off and return on Wednesday. They visit Internacional on Wednesday, 7 October at 19:30 at Beira-Rio in the 29th round of the Brasileirão.
