Corinthians says it had already provided Laspro with details on February revenue discrepancies before a judge ordered further clarification in the Regime Centralizado de Execuções case. According to Meu Timao, the club issued its explanation on Thursday morning.

Judge Guilherme Cavalcanti Lamêgo accepted Laspro’s request and ordered the club to explain the divergences, warning an observer or judicial interventor could be appointed if inconsistencies or resistance persist.

A filing dated 24 March, one day before the 25 March ruling, set out a technical breakdown of February income and the reasons for differences, covering operational and non-operational items, internal movements, financial operations, receivable advances and sums from player negotiations.

The dispute arose after Laspro highlighted a gap between revenue used to calculate March’s RCE instalment and total February takings. Corinthians declared R$ 64.2 million for the calculation, while its own figures showed R$ 213.4 million, a difference of R$ 149.2 million.

The R$ 64.2 million reflected sponsorship, television rights, matchday, social club, advertising, membership, Arena income, other receipts, and royalties and licensing, the rest having been excluded. Items left out were financial operations R$ 76.9m, transfer R$ 65.5m and player negotiation R$ 6.8m.

Creditors also challenged aspects of the payment plan and allocation criteria, including Link Assessoria, linked to André Cury, and Pix Star, operator of Pixbet. While they sought suspension of the regime, the court notified other creditors and will hear Laspro and the Ministério Público de São Paulo (MP-SP).
