Corinthians have eight players named in Arthur Elias’s Brazil squad for the first international window of 2026, featuring friendlies against Costa Rica, Venezuela and Mexico as preparation for the 2027 Women’s World Cup on home soil.

According to Meu Timao, the Corinthians contingent comprises Lelê, Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Gi Fernandes, Duda Sampaio, Ana Vitória, Gabi Zanotti and Jaqueline.

The squad also includes eight former Corinthians players, namely Tarciane, Mariza, Yasmim, Isabela, Luana Bertolucci, Kerolin, Jheniffer and Geyse.

Elias said selection for this window focused on players already in competitive rhythm in 2026, giving priority to those whose leagues have started and who completed full pre-season, given differing calendars worldwide.

Brazil face Costa Rica on 27 February at Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, kick-off 22:00 Brasília time. They meet Venezuela on 4 March at 18:00 at the Mexican Football Federation’s training centre in Toluca, then play Mexico on 7 March at Estádio Ciudad de los Deportes in Mexico City at 20:00.

Corinthians will not be deprived of their players, with domestic competitions paused for the window. Their previous fixture is set for 20 February against Fluminense, and their first after the break is on 13 March against Palmeiras.

Midfielder Dayana Rodríguez has been called by Venezuela for the same period, to face Brazil and Mexican sides Cruz Azul and América.
