Corinthians have set Memphis Depay’s return to CT Joaquim Grava for next weekend. The Dutch forward will report back after 25 days off following the Netherlands’ World Cup exit, with his future still unresolved.

The club have shifted their internal stance, moving away from expecting a comeback only after a contract renewal. Meu Timao reports that Depay is expected to begin reporting between Saturday and Monday.

His comeback falls in the final week of his deal, which runs until 31 July. He has received an extension offer on reduced terms compared to his current contract, and the decision now rests with the player.

Depay has also been linked with Tigres in Mexico as a potential replacement for André-Pierre Gignac, who is leaving the club.

This is Depay’s third season with Timão. He has played 79 matches, scoring 20 goals and providing 15 assists, and has lifted the Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil in 2025, plus the Supercopa Rei in 2026.
