Corinthians have arranged a friendly with Cascavel on 12 July at the Olímpico Regional stadium in Paraná, set for the World Cup break as preparation for the restart.
According to Globo.com, Corinthians will receive a fee to play in Paraná, a region with a large concentration of their supporters.
The event is being staged by Cascavel city hall alongside a group of businesspeople. Corinthians will be paid a fixed amount for the match, with the remaining revenue going to the organisers.
The club are currently competing in the Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Brasileiro and the Conmebol Libertadores, and have five fixtures left before the World Cup pause.
The squad will take 25 days off and report back in the second half of June. At this stage, the only match planned during the break is the Cascavel friendly.
The club will return to official competition on 22 July against Remo at Neo Química Arena.
