Corinthians sign goalkeeper for women's Under-20s, three-year deal agreed

Looking ahead to the 2026 season, Corinthians has secured the arrival of goalkeeper Edryan Ribeiro for the Under-20 women's category. The athlete joins Parque São Jorge with a three-year contract, until the end of 2028. The goalkeeper previously played for Audax, from Osasco, where she competed in the Paulistão Under-15 and 17 tournaments for the team from the West Zone of São Paulo.

In 2024, she was voted the best goalkeeper of the Taça Cidade de São Paulo, in addition to being the runner-up of the Paulista Cup Under-17 last year. The young player joins Corinthians to compete for a position with Sophia Trindade, who is about to renew her contract with the Alvinegro. It is worth noting that Rillary and Ana Morganti, aged 20 and 17 respectively, are integrated into the main squad of the Brabas.

Besides Sophia Trindade, Corinthians is close to extending the contracts of defender Bruna Meer, left-back Emelym, and forward Júlia Romero. The first is 18 years old, and the latter two are 17. The new contracts for these athletes should be published soon in the system of the Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF).

On the other hand, leaving the Under-20 Brabinhas at the turn of the year were midfielder Gaby Tomé and forward Rafaela Rodrigues, both 19 years old. Goalkeeper Yasmin, left-back Amanda Dias, and forward Ester, who aged out of the youth category and were not in the plans for the main team, also left the club.

The Brabinhas are expected to debut in 2026 only at the beginning of March (8th), in the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship. The Alvinegro is in Group D alongside Red Bull Bragantino, Taubaté, and Tarumã-AM.
