Corinthians sign Kaio César before Supercopa do Brasil clash with Flamengo

Corinthians have signed forward Kaio César on loan ahead of Sunday’s Supercopa do Brasil meeting with Flamengo at Mané Garrincha.

The club said in a statement that Kaio César has joined until the end of the season. He is contracted to Al Hilal and had lacked opportunities with the Saudi club.

Kaio César is eligible to play against Flamengo after his registration appeared on the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol’s Boletim Informativo Diário on Thursday 29.

Flamengo, meanwhile, have confirmed the signing of Lucas Paquetá for 42 million euros, R$ 260 million at current rates. The midfielder still awaits BID publication before he can make his debut.

The sides meet on Sunday one at 16:00 Brasília time at Mané Garrincha in Brasília, with the trophy on the line.
