Corinthians start week: Copinha debut and first-team return

This Monday (29th), close to the turn of the year, Corinthians starts the week with few commitments, but all with considerable relevance. Additionally, in the first days of 2026, the professional men's football team will return to the Dr. Joaquim Grava Training Center, focusing on the start of the Paulista Championship, Super Cup, and Brasileirão.

Tonight, Corinthians will host União Corinthians at 8 PM (Brasília time) at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium for the 19th match of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). Currently, the Alvinegro occupies the sixth position in the national tournament with 12 wins and six losses.

Next Saturday (3rd), Corinthians will make its debut in the 2026 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. At 2:45 PM (Brasília time), the club from Parque São Jorge will face Trindade from Goiás in Jaú, at the Zezinho Magalhães Stadium, known as Jauzão. It is worth noting that Alvinegro is the tournament's most successful team with 11 titles, the last one in 2024, having been a finalist in the last two editions and runner-up in 2025.

On the same day, the professional squad of Corinthians will return to the Dr. Joaquim Grava Training Center, aiming for the Paulista Championship, Super Cup, and Brazilian Championship, which begin in the first month of the year. Alvinegro debuts in the Paulista Championship on the 11th, Sunday, at 4 PM (Brasília time), at the Neo Química Arena, against Ponte Preta.
