Corinthians have intensified preparations for a Copa do Brasil decider against Barra, with off-field matters and women’s team developments shaping a busy week.

According to Meu Timao, the club faced three complaints at the STJD following the clássico against São Paulo, and spent R$ 676,000 with an irregular security company registered in the name of a club employee.

The club has also cleared overdue salaries owed to the men’s first-team squad and to Fernando Diniz’s backroom staff.

On the women’s side, Corinthians reconvened after a Majestoso victory and are now focused on the Paulista Feminino.

The head coach explained the decision to substitute Ivana Fuso and said an improvised option in that position was justified.

Corinthians have set out ticket information for supporters travelling to face Peñarol in Uruguay.

At Neo Química Arena, the team have recorded their best attacking sequence of the season.
