Corinthians arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday night with a 24-man squad for Wednesday’s meeting with Fluminense at the Maracanã. Dorival Júnior’s side play at 21:30 in the ninth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The headline inclusion is Jesse Lingard, available for the first time after resolving his Brazilian work visa. According to Meu Timao, there is an expectation he will start alongside Yuri Alberto.

Goalkeeper Felipe Longo is also back after around 40 days, recovered from an elbow ligament issue. He is an option to start in Rio, with Hugo Souza on Brazil duty and not returning in time.

Corinthians travel without Kaio César, Memphis Depay and Gui Negão, all injured, plus suspended midfielder Raniele. André Carrillo is on international duty and left-back Hugo Farias continues his recovery.

The club used the international window for nine days of training at their base. They sit 11th in the table on 10 points, nine behind leaders Palmeiras.
