Corinthians are considering disciplining Allan after his red card in the 3-1 defeat to Fluminense. According to Meu Timao, a sanction is likely, though its form has not yet been decided.

UOL Esporte reports that one option is a salary penalty permitted by Brazilian law, and the board has consulted the legal department to ensure compliance. A decision is expected by the weekend from president Osmar Stabile and football executive Marcelo Paz.

The incident occurred six minutes into the second half after a clash with Lucho Acosta, when both players were booked. As he walked away, Allan made an obscene gesture towards Fluminense players and staff. Following a VAR review, referee Davi de Oliveira Lacerda deemed it disrespectful and sent him off.

Head coach Dorival Júnior criticised the midfielder’s conduct after the match and said the matter would be handled internally. The following morning, Allan apologised for his actions.

Allan is on loan from Flamengo until the end of 2026. The dismissal came in his 10th appearance for Corinthians, his sixth as a starter. He had already been shown four yellow cards this season.
