Corinthians to honour Gabi Zanotti and Vic Albuquerque before Brasileirão Feminino clash | OneFootball

Corinthians return to the Fazendinha on Friday to face Red Bull Bragantino in the Brasileirão Feminino, with Gabi Zanotti and Vic Albuquerque to be honoured before kick-off.

Meu Timao understands that both will be celebrated for reaching 258 matches for the club, equalling Grazi for the most appearances. Zanotti hit the mark in last Friday’s 3-1 win over Botafogo and will move clear if she features, while Vic will reach it if she plays.

They also hold three notable records, most titles with 18 each, the club’s leading scorers with Vic on 123 and Zanotti on 89, and the top scorers at Neo Química Arena, Zanotti with 10 and Vic with nine.

The pair will receive plaques and personalised shirts, with the ceremony set for 21:00. It marks the Brabas’ return to Parque São Jorge after lighting upgrades left the venue unable to host night games since May last year.

Despite near-identical appearance totals, their debuts are separated by almost a year. Zanotti first featured on the first of April 2018 in a 2-0 win over São José in the Campeonato Paulista. Vic made her bow on 16 March the following year, a 4-1 victory over Ponte Preta in the Brasileirão.

Both now aim to lift Corinthians’ league form. The side sit seventh on 10 points and could go top this round with a four-goal win.
