Corinthians are seeking corporate partners to help fund a renewed deal for Memphis Depay.

According to Meu Timao, the board have already sounded out two firms about sharing the forward’s high salary. Neither has given a firm answer, but both were willing to listen.

Depay is open to negotiating his stay, and talks could take place during the World Cup. Previously, the club had aimed to find a solution before the tournament.

Before any approach to the Dutchman, Corinthians plan to conclude talks with Talleres of Argentina over the Rodrigo Garro transfer debt, which is in its final phase.

Depay’s contract, signed in September 2024, includes a signing-on fee, appearance, goal and assist bonuses, salary and image rights. Main sponsor Esportes da Sorte covers part of his wages. The deal runs until 20 June and is the only one in the squad that ends mid-season.
