Corinthians host RB Bragantino in the Brasileirão on Thursday, 12 February 2026 in São Paulo, with the hosts bottom after one game and the visitors top following back to back wins and clean sheets.

RB Bragantino have had the better of this fixture and beat Corinthians 3-0 in January's Paulista meeting. The leaders also opened the league with two wins to nil against Coritiba and Atlético Mineiro, while Corinthians began with a 2-1 home defeat to Bahia.

Timão's recent run is mixed across competitions: wins over Capivariano and Velo in the state tournament and a 2-0 Supercopa victory at Flamengo, offset by league defeat to Bahia and a derby loss to Palmeiras. Braga, by contrast, have started the league efficiently with two 1-0 victories and several low scoring draws in the Paulista around them.

Coringão are without André Carrillo, Hugo, José Martínez and Kaio César through injury. Massa Bruta list defenders Guzmán Rodríguez and Vanderlan sidelined.

Massa Bruta's two clean sheets suggest a compact, well drilled defence, so Timão may need patience and precision in the final third. Braga's knack for edging tight games could see them manage territory and look for moments to strike, while the hosts' recent cup success at Flamengo hints they can raise the intensity if they find a foothold.

A win would put Timão on three points and could lift them off the bottom and away from immediate relegation trouble. Massa Bruta would move to nine points and could strengthen their grip on top spot and the Copa Libertadores places.
