Corinthians visit Magnus Sorocaba for decisive LNF quarter-final clash

This Tuesday (11th), Corinthians returns to the court for the National Futsal League (LNF). In a match valid for the second leg of the quarter-finals of the competition, the Alvinegro visits Magnus Sorocaba at Arena Sorocaba at 9 PM (Brasília time), aiming to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the country's main tournament in the sport.

Timão is experiencing a good recent phase this season, winning seven games and drawing one in the last seven matches. The sequence includes qualifications in the LNF round of 16 against Carlos Barbosa and in the quarter-finals of the Paulista Championship against Pulo Campinas, as well as a 4-2 victory over Magnus Sorocaba in the first leg of the current matchup.

With the victory at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium in the first leg of the matchup, Corinthians secured the advantage of qualifying for the next phase with a draw in regular time in Sorocaba. However, if they lose this Tuesday's match, it will be Magnus who will have the advantage of a draw in overtime – a right acquired by having a better campaign in the first phase.

For the classic against Magnus, coach Fernando Malafaia is expected to field the best available lineup, sending a quintet composed of Lucas Oliveira, Lucas Martins, Maicon, Igor Carioca, and Deives onto the court.

Corinthians fans will have several broadcast options to support the team. On YouTube, the match will be streamed by LNF TV and the GOAT channel. Additionally, BandSports will air the match on pay TV, while XSports will be the option on open channel. Right after the match, Central do Timão will provide a report on everything that happens in the game.
