Corinthians visit Palmeiras in key Paulistão Sub-20 knockout clash

On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 15, the Brabinhas will fight for a spot in the semifinals of the Under-20 Paulista Women’s Championship in a clash against Palmeiras. The second leg of the quarterfinals will take place at Arena Barueri, hosted by the rival, starting at 3:00 PM (Brasília time).

The first match, held at Estádio Alfredo Schürig, ended in a 1–1 draw in the Derby, with Raíssa scoring for Corinthians. Thus, if it remains tied, the decision will go to penalties. A simple win for either team guarantees qualification for the winner.

Probable lineup

To try to secure qualification, Corinthians will have to overcome the absences of Dulce Maria and Julia Faria. With these losses, the starting team should feature Sophia Trindade; Rafa Rocha, Brunna and Dany Pereira; Raíssa, Gaby Tomé, Gabi Pires, Manu Olivan and Ester; Rayane and Helô Camargo.
