Corinthians have begun another week of preparation for the Dérbi after the FIFA international window, highlighted by goalkeeper Nicole Ramos returning to on field ball work.

The match is set for 13 March at Arena Barueri, in the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino. According to Meu Timao, the squad trained at the club’s centre in the morning.

Players began with gym work, then moved to a technical session led by Emily Lima that focused on defensive and offensive phases. The day finished with a psychology department activity for the entire group.

There were two goalkeeping updates. Ramos, recovering from a grade one acromioclavicular dislocation, took part with the ball on the grass. Under-20 stopper Bianca Gois, 19, also worked alongside Ana Morganti and Rillary.

Lima currently has 13 absentees, with 10 on international duty during the FIFA window, namely Lelê, Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Ana Vitória, Duda Sampaio, Gabi Zanotti and Jaqueline for Brazil, Dayana Rodríguez for Venezuela, Belén Aquino for Uruguay, and Gisela Robledo for Colombia.

Three more are sidelined by injury. Gi Fernandes is rehabbing a strained rectus femoris in her left thigh, Agustina is recovering from a muscle injury in her left leg, and Thaís Regina is recovering after surgery for a left fibula fracture.
