Corinthians released their 22-man squad to face Montevideo Wanderers in Uruguay on Thursday for the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana round-of-16.
Despite a huge derby matchup against Palmeiras on Sunday and holding onto a 2-0 advantage after last Thursday’s first leg, manager Fabio Carille has indicated that he will use a full-strength side.
However, he will not be able to count on Jádson, who will miss out on Thursday’s clash to deal with personal issues.
Pedrinho will also not be involved as he is suspended after picking up his third yellow card of the tournament last week.
Meanwhile, Junior Sornoza has recovered from his right thigh injury and has been included in the matchday squad while Ralf remains out due to a similar injury.
In Tuesday’s training, Carille put out an XI that should start against Wanderers that consisted of: Cassio, Fagner, Gil, Henrique, and Carlos Augusto; Gabriel, Matheus Jesus, Ramiro, Mateus Vital, and Clayson; Vagner Love.
Goalkeepers: Caique, Cássio, and Walter
Defenders: Carlos Augusto, Danilo Avelar, Fagner, Michel, Gil, Henrique, and Manoel
Midfielders: Gabriel, Junior Urso, Matheus Jesus, Ramiro, Mateus Vital, Régis, and Junior Sornoza
Forwards: Mauro Boselli, Clayson, Gustavo, Janderson, and Vagner Love.
