Corinthians completed their final session before facing Red Bull Bragantino without midfielder André, who will miss Sunday’s game with right thigh pain.
According to Globo.com, kick-off is at 18:30 Brasília time at Estádio Cícero de Souza Marques in Bragança Paulista, and André will undergo tests to assess a possible injury.
He sat out Friday’s work at CT Joaquim Grava following Thursday’s Copa do Brasil elimination, then also missed Saturday’s training.
A likely Corinthians XI features Hugo Souza in goal, a back four of Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and Matheus Bidu, a midfield of Raniele, Allan, Breno Bidon and Rodrigo Garro, and Kaio César with Pedro Raul in attack, with Gui Negão or Jesse Lingard also in contention.
Saturday’s session began with a tactical video, followed by gym activation and a warm-up on the pitch. The squad then worked on a 10 v 10 tactical exercise under coach Fernando Diniz, and also rehearsed set pieces.
Midfielder Alex Santana and the left-back completed their physical transition and trained with the group.
Corinthians have 29 points and sit 9th in the Brasileirão. They are looking to close on the leading pack while mindful of the first leg of the Conmebol Libertadores last 16 against Rosario Central on Thursday at 21:30 in Rosario, Argentina.
