Corinthians Women eye unbeaten run v Fluminense at the Arena

On the evening of this Friday (20th), at 9:30 PM (Brasília time), Corinthians faces Fluminense at the Neo Química Arena for the second round of the Brazilian Women's Championship. The Brabas approach the match aiming to maintain their unbeaten record against the team from Rio.

Corinthians and Fluminense have faced each other only twice in the history of their women's teams, both times in the Brazilian Championship (in the 2024 and 2025 editions). The first match, held at Fazendinha, ended with a 5-0 victory for Timão, while the second, played at the Moça Bonita Stadium in Bangu-RJ, ended in a 1-1 draw.

Additionally, the Brabas aim to maintain their unbeaten record in matches played at the Neo Química Arena. So far, there have been 29 matches for the women's team in Itaquera, with 27 wins and two draws. In these matches, Timão scored 74 goals and conceded only 16.

The last match played by the Brabas at the stadium took place on December 4, 2025. On that occasion, Corinthians faced São Paulo in the semifinals of the Paulista Championship and won 2-1, coming from behind with goals from Duda Sampaio and Jaqueline, securing their advancement to the State final.

Corinthians seeks to secure a second consecutive victory to continue their strong start in the Brasileirão. Last Friday (13th), the Brabas defeated Atlético-MG 1-0, with a goal from Letícia Monteiro, playing away, and started the national competition with three points.
