Corinthians have shared behind-the-scenes footage of their passage to the Brasileirão Feminino semi-finals after two wins over Cruzeiro.

Before kick-off, Lima addressed the group then invited centre-back Thaís Regina, who wore the armband, to speak. The defender recalled once facing Corinthians, said wearing the shirt had long been a dream, and urged team-mates to bring a winner’s edge, fierce intent and represent the supporters.
On the pitch, Vic Albuquerque struck late in the second half to take a 1-0 lead from the opener, celebrating with Tamires, Ariel Godoi and Ivana Fuso.
The return at Canindé on Monday began with a final team talk and warm-up, with Lima reinforcing the first-leg approach and telling the players the tie was in their hands.
Despite the scare of a Marília goal, Jhonson, Tamires and Thais Ferreira ensured a 3-1 home win, and the Brabas prolonged the celebrations with the traditional poropopó before heading back inside.
It marked Corinthians’ 10th successive semi-final. They will face Bahia on 13 and 20 September, with dates and kick-off times still to be confirmed by the CBF.
