Corinthians Women’s goals in Majestoso shake up season rankings

On the evening of Thursday (4th), Corinthians hosted São Paulo at the Neo Química Arena for the second leg of the Women's Paulista Championship semifinals and won 2-1. The comeback victory in Itaquera, which secured the Brabas' spot in the state tournament final, stirred the team's scoring and assist rankings for the season.

Both goals for the black-and-white team came in the second half. At 10 minutes, Jaqueline crossed into the box, and Zanotti passed to Andressa Alves, who set up Duda Sampaio to finish from outside the area. Then at 30 minutes, Duda Sampaio took a corner from the left to the near post for Mariza, who flicked it on for Jaqueline to simply tap into the net and seal the Majestoso's score.

Jaqueline reached her ninth goal of the season, consolidating her fourth position among top scorers. Meanwhile, Duda Sampaio scored her fifth goal in 2025, surpassing teammates Thaís Regina, Eudimilla, and Tamires, all with four goals.

In the assist rankings, Andressa Alves took the lead by reaching her ninth contribution by assisting Duda Sampaio's equalizer. Meanwhile, Mariza provided her second assist of the year by participating in the black-and-white team's comeback goal in the classic. Check out the complete rankings below:
