Corinthians wrap up preparations for first leg of Paulista Feminino final

This Saturday (6th), the Brabas wrapped up their preparations for the first leg of the Paulista Women's Championship final. On Sunday morning (7th), Corinthians will face Palmeiras at 11 a.m. (Brasília time), at Arena Barueri. In the first stage, the Alvinegro team led with 35 points and knocked out São Paulo in the semifinals.

At the youth training center, the Corinthians women's squad began their training day with a video analysis session alongside the club's scouting staff. Afterwards, the athletes took part in physical training and underwent evaluations by the Health and Performance Center. On the pitch, coach Lucas Piccinato conducted a tactical session.

Corinthians, who have already won their seventh national championship and their sixth Conmebol Libertadores title this season, are seeking their fifth state title (2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023) after losing last season's final precisely to Palmeiras, in a penalty shootout.

Throughout history, Corinthians and Palmeiras have faced each other 37 times in women's football, with 21 wins for Corinthians, six draws, and 10 victories for their archrival. This year, there have been three matches, with one win for each side and one draw.
