Coritiba beat Cruzeiro 2-1 on Thursday in Belo Horizonte, climbing from 19th to 11th in the Brasileirão and leaving the hosts bottom after two straight defeats.
In the 19th minute, Matheus Pereira curled in from the right after Lucas Romero's pass to give the hosts the lead.
On the stroke of half time, Joaquín Lavega levelled from close range after a Bruno Melo delivery (45.).
After the restart, Breno Lopes finished a fast break from the centre of the box to complete the turnaround (53.).
Zeiro dominated the ball and territory, recording 67.8% possession and 19 attempts, plus 12 corners. Coxa were ruthless, scoring with both efforts on target from 10 attempts. Pedro Morisco made three saves.
Coxa then lost Breno Lopes to injury, with Keno introduced (67.). Tiago Cóser also departed, replaced by Jacy Maranhão (73.).
