GROS ISLET, Saint Lucia – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Mexico earning a 7-nil victory against Saint Lucia in Group A on Monday at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

Rebeca Bernal opened the scoring in favor of the Mexicans, with a header off a corner kick in the 18’.

Charlyn Corral added to her tally in the W Qualifiers in the 26’, scoring the second for Mexico with a right-footed shot.

An own goal by Ellaisa Marquis in the 52’ extended Mexico’s lead. 

Corral secured her brace, and the fourth goal of the match, in the 64’. The goal marks her ninth goal in the 2026 edition.

A right-footed shot from outside the box by Alexia Delgado in the 69’ added a fifth goal for Mexico. Nicolette Hernandez found the net in the 87’, before Diana Ordonez capitalized on a loose ball in the area in the 90'+5’ to close the scoring.

Mexico will look to add to its winning record when it faces the U.S. Virgin Islands on April 11. Saint Lucia will meet Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in its next match on April 19.
