CorSport: Theo and Leao return to the XI vs. Venezia – Fonseca demands answers | OneFootball

Among the players who are watched most closely tomorrow night during AC Milan’s home game against Venezia will be Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao, who have found themselves at the centre of a storm.

Whether it’s a delay in his preparation due to the European Championship, or the transfer rumours that will have certainly distracted him, Theo Hernandez has started this season decidedly below his usual standards.

He also put in a disappointing performance for France against Italy that saw him benched for their second Nations League match against Belgium during the break. To this, we must add the bad evening in Parma and the Lazio saga. Now, he must ‘find energy even when it’s not there’.

Leao is a different story, because while his attitude has come into question the Portuguese has still scored a goal and an assist in the league, to which we can add the assist to Bruno Fernandes during Portugal’s victory over Scotland in the Nations League.
