Live broadcast: Sky and NetradioThe match will be broadcast live on Sky. Pre-match coverage begins at 14:00 CEST. Michael Leopold will be the host. Dietmar Hamann will be on hand to provide his expert analysis. Kai Dittmann will be on commentary duties for the match, which will be broadcast on Sky Sport Bundesliga and UHD/HDR. As usual, BVB Netradio will be providing the usual Black & Yellow perspective. Reporters Boris Rupert and Martin Ammeling will be the reporters. A summary of the match, as well as the press conference and post-match interviews, will be available on BVB TV, among other places.

Referee: Reichel to officiateThe 40-year-old from Stuttgart will be officiating his 50th Bundesliga match and his fourth involving Borussia Dortmund. In the summer of 2020, Tobias Reichel was appointed to the extended squad of Bundesliga referees on a trial basis and, in this capacity, refereed the match between Borussia Dortmund and Arminia Bielefeld (3-0) on 27 February 2021. He also refereed the match against 1. FC Heidenheim (2-2) in September 2023 and, most recently, the visit to Union Berlin (a 2-1 loss) at the beginning of October 2024. Christian Bandurski and Marcel Unger will be the assistant referees, while Patrick Schwengers will be the fourth official. Arno Blos will be responsible for VAR.

Kits: BVB in away ensembleBorussia Dortmund will play in their new away kit. Mainz will play in red shirts, white shorts and red socks.
