Real Madrid clashed heads with Liverpool at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a victory on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

LB: Alvaro Carreras – 6.5/10

He did his best to keep Mohamed Salah quiet but lacked quality going forward.

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7/10

Tchouameni was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga – 6/10

He got stuck in with some solid tackles but struggled to make an impact in the final third.

RW: Arda Guler – 6.5/10

Guler passed the ball well but lacked the cutting edge in the opponent’s half.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 6/10

He made a few decent chances for others around him but struggled to threaten the opponent’s goal.

ST: Kylian Mbappe – 7/10

Mbappe made some driving runs with the ball but failed to find the back of the net.
