Crackdown Continues On Curva Tifos At San Siro Ahead Of Inter Milan Vs AC Milan Derby | OneFootball

The pressure around Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina between Inter and Milan extends well beyond the pitch, with the clampdown on organised tifos at San Siro set to continue.

One year later, after the launch of the Doppia Curva investigation which dismantled the leadership of both Milanese ultras groups.

Indeed, club representatives from Inter and Milan met with the Prefecture on Thursday to review progress made over the past season.

Furthermore, they agreed to present further proposals in the near future.

However, despite the dialogue, nothing changes for Sunday’s derby.

The Curva Nord and Curva Sud are still banned from staging their own choreographies.

“There will be a display prepared by the club between the second and third orange tiers, but no tifos in the Curvas,” the report states.

Indeed, noting that the police have maintained an uncompromising stance on organised supporter groups.

“San Siro will only feature the choreography arranged by Inter in the first and second orange tiers.

Meanwhile the ‘Sodalizio Rossonero’ banner will not be allowed into the Curva Sud by order of the Prosecutor’s Office.

The restrictions mean the stadium atmosphere will rely on club-managed displays.

Rather than the traditional ultras-driven scenography, marking another chapter in the ongoing crackdown.
