Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu cut a frustrated figure on the touchline despite his side’s comfortable 2-0 win at Cremonese on Sunday.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 45-year-old’s behavior was not unfounded.
Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Piotr Zielinski inspired Inter to a commanding 2-0 victory at Stadio Giovanni Zini.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri have steered eight points clear of second-placed AC Milan at the top of the tree.
However, the Rossoneri will have an opportunity to restore a five-point gap tomorrow when they face Bologna at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Inter created a two-goal buffer after only 31 minutes. However, Chivu was eager to prevent complacency from creeping in.
Indeed, Inter’s performance dropped after the break, with Cremonese gathering momentum in pursuit of a goal that would’ve blown the contest wide open.
Moreover, Napoli loanee Alessio Zerbin hit the post in the final stages of the game.
Despite that chance, Cremonese drew another blank, while Inter kept 12th clean sheet in 23 Serie A games this season.
