But the 24-year-old, who took to Instagram on Saturday to announce the birth of his baby daughter, has been one of the standouts so far in pre-season for the Flock.

He has scored in friendly games against Caimanes de Cihuatlán and Necaxa.

And, according to various sources, the Atlas academy graduate has never been in better physical shape.

Calderón will hope that the upcoming 2021 Apertura season will finally see him win over boss Víctor Manuel Vucetich and the Los Rojiblancos faithful.
