Cristiano Ronaldo and Ivan Toney headline a five-man shortlist for the Saudi Pro League's 2025-26 Player of the Season, announced by the league, as the title race between Al Nassr and Al Hilal goes to the final day.
Al Nassr lead on 83 points heading into Thursday's final fixtures, two clear of unbeaten Al Hilal. The leaders face Damac and a win seals the championship, while Hilal meet Al Fayha.
Ronaldo has scored 26 this season and recently became only the third player in the modern era to reach 100 Pro League goals. He has seven Man of the Match awards and is viewed as a leading contender. He needs a final-day victory to claim his first major trophy with Al Nassr since joining on 1 January 2023.
Team-mate Joao Felix has enjoyed a standout debut, recording a record three hat-tricks for a registered midfielder. He leads the assist charts with 12 and sits joint-second for goal contributions.
Toney has 32 goals in 31 league games for Al Ahli, including four hat-tricks, and has nine Man of the Match awards. Al Qadsiah's Julian Quinones has hit 30 for the season, becoming the club's all-time top-flight scorer on 50, and has 13 Man of the Match awards. Ruben Neves has orchestrated Al Hilal's midfield, surpassing 2,000 passes and leading the league for dangerous passes.
Eligibility requires appearing in at least 40 percent of a team's 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League matches, with no regard to position or nationality.
