Cristiano Ronaldo netted his second hat-trick in four days against Abha on Tuesday, continuing his stellar run of form in the Saudi Pro League.
Following his triple in Al-Nassr’s 5-1 success over Al Tai, the forward bagged another hat-trick to help his side to a dominating 8-0 win at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.
He has tallied 65 career hat-tricks, including 44 for 14-time Champions League winners Real Madrid.
Ronaldo scored his first two goals from free-kicks, hitting the target with a low shot on 11 minutes before curling the ball around the wall from the left side.
He then set up former Liverpool star Sadio Mane for Al-Nassr’s third before completing his hat-trick with a superb chip from outside the area with three minutes remaining in the first half.
Luis Castro’s side romped to an 8-0 success with further goals from Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa (2), Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem and Abdulrahman Ghareeb.
Ronaldo has been in excellent form this season, scoring 29 goals in 24 appearances to lead the scoring charts in the Saudi Pro League.
But despite the emphatic 8-0 victory, Al-Nassr are 12 points behind leaders Al-Hilal in the league standings.
They are also out of the AFC Champions League and the domestic cup in Saudi Arabia.
