Fichajes claims Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to move for Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger, who has under six months left on his deal and can speak to clubs outside Spain.

The Saudi club are said to be preparing a serious push for the German, who would be available on a free if he leaves in summer 2026.

Renewal talks in Madrid are described as stalled, with the club focused on medium to long-term planning during a defensive reset. Over-30s rarely receive lengthy deals and Rudiger turns 33 in March.

Ronaldo, contracted until 2027, is reported to hold sway in recruitment and has recommended Rudiger after facing him previously, believing the centre-half would provide an immediate uplift.

The centre-back is also drawing interest from other ambitious projects, including teams in the Middle East. Al-Nassr are viewed as gaining momentum in the chase.

An economically powerful package is said to be on the table in Riyadh, pairing a high salary with a central role that European clubs could struggle to match.

Rudiger has not made a final decision and remains focused on Real’s current campaigns. An extension, possibly on rolling 12-month terms, cannot be ruled out, though a move at season’s end is seen as plausible.
