Cristiano Ronaldo has walked out of Portugal’s camp in Denmark, abruptly and without prior notice, after Jorge Jesus indicated he would not play against Denmark having been left unused against Norway on Sunday.

This may yet mark the end of his Portugal career, which includes Euro 2016 and Nations League 2024. After the summer he had announced he would carry on for the national side.
