Inter have secured an agreement with Hajduk Split for Croatian wonderkid Branimir Mlacic, but the move currently hinges on a final decision from the player’s camp.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Nerazzurri have been working hard to convince the youngster to choose Inter as his next destination. While the club-to-club negotiations are already settled, Mlacic and his family are yet to make a definitive call regarding the transfer.

The player’s father has previously expressed a preference for projects at clubs like Como or Borussia Dortmund, where the path to first-team football might be more immediate. Despite Inter meeting the financial and technical demands presented during intensive contacts, they must now wait for the family to give the final green light.

Inter remain hopeful that their project will eventually win over the Croatian talent, but the race remains open until the father provides a final answer to the management at Viale della Liberazione.
