Cruzeiro rally after early scare as Christian strikes after the restart

Cruzeiro beat RB Bragantino 2-1 at the Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto, climbing from 19th to 17th in the Brasileirão.
In the sixth minute, José Hurtado swept in from the right after Isidro Pitta's pass to give the visitors the lead. Néiser Villarreal levelled with a precise finish across goal from Fagner's through ball (18.).
After the restart, Christian arrived to guide in the winner from Keny Arroyo's cut-back (50.). From there, Cruzeiro managed the game and looked the likelier side on transitions.
Tiago Volpi kept Braga in it with five saves, including sharp stops from Villarreal and Matheus Pereira. Matheus Cunha preserved the points late on, tipping away Lucas Barbosa's header (88.).
Raposa registered seven shots on target from 16 attempts. Braga produced four efforts on target from 15 and held 50.8% possession.
Next, Cruzeiro host Universidad Católica in the Libertadores. Braga face Blooming in the Sudamericana at home.
