Cruzeiro ‘to enquire about’ Gabriel Rojas amid Kaiki Bruno exit | OneFootball

Flamengo have turned their attention to left-back for the next transfer window and have sounded out Cruzeiro’s Kaiki Bruno. According to ESPN, Cruzeiro are exploring a move for Racing’s Argentine left-back Gabriel Rojas.

The report adds that Cruzeiro view Kaiki Bruno’s departure after the World Cup as a certainty, with potential European interest, hence the look at Rojas.

Cruzeiro are seeking 12 to 15 million euros, R$ 69.7 million to R$ 87 million, to negotiate Kaiki Bruno. Flamengo would need to spend significantly to land the defender.

Kaiki Bruno was a request from head coach Leonardo Jardim, the Portuguese having worked with the left-back in 2025 at Cruzeiro. Flamengo’s plans on the left side for 2027 remain unresolved.

The club have advanced towards an agreement to extend Alex Sandro’s deal to the end of 2027, but he is 35. Ayrton Lucas also remains out of favour with many supporters.

With the window yet to open, Flamengo face Coritiba on Saturday 30 at 16:00, Brasília time, at the Maracanã in the 18th round of the Brasileirão. SporTV and Premiere will broadcast the match.
