Corinthians faces Cruzeiro on the evening of this Wednesday (25th) at the Mineirão Stadium, in a match valid for the fourth round of the 2026 Brazilian Championship. At this moment, the Corinthians team has six points in three rounds, occupying the fifth position in the national tournament with two wins and one loss. The Corinthians technical staff will not be able to count on the following players for the match: goalkeeper Felipe Longo (elbow discomfort, according to ge.globo), left-back Hugo Farias (recovering from right knee surgery), midfielder Matheus Pereira (grade 2 injury in the left thigh biceps femoris), and forwards Kaio César (grade 2 injury in the left thigh biceps femoris) and Yuri Alberto (treating a right thigh posterior muscle injury).

Thus, the Alvinegro, rotating the squad aiming for the Paulista semifinals, is expected to start the match with: Hugo Souza; Pedro Milans, Gabriel Paulista, João Pedro Thoca, and Fabrizio Angileri; Raniele, Charles (Allan), André Carrillo, and Breno Bidon; Vitinho and Pedro Raul.

After facing Cruzeiro away from home for the fourth round of the Brasileirão, Corinthians will refocus on the Paulista Championship. Next Saturday (28th), at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), the Alvinegro will face Novorizontino at the Estádio Jorge Ismael de Biasi, for the state semifinal. A draw will take the decision to penalties.
