Blues defender had been frozen out at Stamford Bridge under Enzo Maresca
Crystal Palace have signed Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah to complete a busy Deadline Day at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles secured a loan move for Chalobah - which does not contain the option for a permanent transfer - as they also wrapped up deals for Maxence Lacroix for £17million, Eddie Nketiah for £30m and goalkeeper Matt Turner on loan.
Chalobah will bolster Palace’s centre-back options after they sold Joachim Andersen to Fulham for £27m earlier this month.
The Eagles have kept hold of captain Marc Guehi after Newcastle ended their summer-long pursuit of the England defender.
Chalobah impressed for Chelsea last season but has been frozen out by new Blues head coach Enzo Maresca.
The 25-year-old has been part of the Chelsea ‘bomb squad’ who have been training away from the first team at Cobham and told they can leave the club.
Academy graduate Chalobah has made 80 senior appearances to date for Chelsea, scoring five goals.
He, Nketiah, Lacroix and Turner will not be available to make their Palace debut against London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
