Sage was named French coach of the year in Ligue 1, won the Coupe de France, and oversaw a historic campaign in which Lens finished second in the table.

He described being at Crystal Palace as fantastic, expressed excitement about the club’s history and recent performances, and praised Glasner’s achievements. He added that matching those standards is now his task and that he and his staff arrive with real ambition.

Chairman Steve Parish welcomed Pierre, pointing to a successful season at Lens capped by a superb second place in Ligue 1.
